RECIPE OF THE WEEK: Cherry delight

Cherry Delight
2 c. Ritz crackers, crushed
6 egg whites
2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 pkg. dream whip
1 c. sugar
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 cans cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites until they peak. Add sugar, crackers and nuts. Press into a 9 x 13 baking pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. When cool, mix dream whip as directed on package, add sugar and cream cheese; mix thoroughly. Spread on crust. Spread cherries on top.
