COLUMBIA CITY — Whitley County’s Board of Commissioners approved a zoning request at Monday’s meeting.
Dave Sewell, of the Whitley County Plan Commission, told the commissioners it had been approved at the plan commission level and now needed commissioner approval.
The property was changed from residential to commercial. It is located south of County Road 500 South in the Dunfee area.
Sewell informed the commissioners the properties to the north and south are zoned commercial as well, so this brings them all into line with one another.
In other business John Passey, formerly with INDOT and now with VS Engineering, visited the commissioners to inform them of his firm and what services it offers.
Betty Wilkinson came before the Commissioners regarding the name change of the South Whitley Library.
