WHS grads excelled in the classroom

SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko High School Principal Parrish Kruger was quick to point out the academic prowess of his graduating class Friday night as the school paid homage to the Class of 2011.
“As Principal of Whitko High School, I must say it’s been an honor to serve you,” said Kruger as he addressed the class.
Kruger announced that 36 percent of the class graduated with honors diplomas, which he said was six percent above the state average.
