Whitko track wins three-way

Whitko’s boys and girls track teams came out on top of a three-way meet against Three Rivers Conference foes Tippecanoe Valley and North Miami.

The Lady Wildcats took a strong win, earning 75 points. Tippy Valley tallied 49 points and North Miami came in third with 29 points.

The boys meet had a similar score. Whitko won with 73 points, Valley had 55 and North Miami posted 25 points.

In the girls meet, Whitko placed first and second in the 100-meter dash, 300-meter hurdles, 1,600-meter run, high jump and long jump.

In the girls meet, Kaitlyn Reed and Abby Overmeyer swept the 100-meter dash, placing first and second, respectively.

The Lady Wildcats also swept the 300-meter hurdles, with Elaine Warner placing first and Reghan Craig taking second.
