Whitko middle schoolers finish football season

LARWILL— Whitko’s middle school football teams have finished their respective 2013 seasons.

The seventh grade team scored a win Oct. 16 against Crestview by a 28-16 score.

Spencer Sroufe scored two touchdowns and had an extra point, Collin Loe scored one touchdown and Jack Curless had one.

The eighth grade Wildcats also won Oct. 16 against Crestview 12-0. Touchdowns were scored by Hunter Reed and Chaz Stanley.

The seventh grade team ended the year at 2-7 and the eighth grade squad finished 4-5.

Oct. 12

Whitko played Riverview Oct. 12. The seventh grade team lost 40-6, with the lone touchdown scored by Collin Loe.
The eighth graders lost to Riverview 28-26, with Hunter Reed and Cory Sandlin each having two touchdowns.

Oct. 8

Whitko played at Edgewood Oct. 8. The eighth grade team lost 36-12, with Robby Owsley scoring one touchdown and throwing the other to Logan Busz for the Wildcats.
The Whitko seventh grade team lost to Edgewood 36-0.
