Whitko JV splits with Garrett

GARRETT — Whitko’s JV baseball squad split a doubleheader with Garrett Saturday.

The Wildcats took game one 10-7 and lost a close game two, 9-8.

Garrett Smiley pitched six innings and earned the win in game one from the mound. He had four strikeouts.

At the plate, Carter Keirn had three hits, including a double, and three RBIs. Riley Anderson had two hits with a double and two RBIs. Reed Brace got two hits as well for Whitko, including a double.
