Whitko comeback falls short against Northrop

FORT WAYNE — A third-quarter charge was not enough for Whitko’s girls basketball team against Fort Wayne Northrop Wednesday.

The Lady Wildcats lost to the Lady Bruins by a final score of 60-49.

It was the second defeat in a row for Whitko (3-3), but the third consecutive contest against a Class 4A school. It was the first win of the year for 1-5 Northrop.

Whitko Girls Basketball Head Coach Brandon Bradley said Northrop challenges his squad in a unique fashion.
