Thomas McCullough, 80, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Dekalb Health in Auburn.
He was born in Whitley County to John Thomas and Marion Etta (Rosenogle) McCullough on Dec. 29, 1932.
He honorably served his country from 1950-53 in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On June 11, 1954, he married Judith Hire at Nazarene Church in Churubusco. He retired from Dana Corporation with more than 42 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering, his grandchildren and friends at Dari-Point in Ligonier.
He shared with his wife, Judith, a family of three children, Larry McCullough of Albion, Lani (Warren) Elliott of Fort Wayne, Lynn (Kathy) McCullough of Ligonier; one sister, Virginia of Ligonier. He also had nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, Ellen, Dave, Betty, Geraldine, Roy and Max.
A funeral service will be held in Thomasâ€™s honor Saturday at 10 a.m. at Stoneâ€™s Hill Community Church, 151 Stoneâ€™s Hill Rd., Ligonier, IN 46767, with Pastors Joey Nelson and Hubert Schmucker officiating. Burial will be in Merriam Christian Cemetery in Merriam.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
