Taking time out for teens

February 20, 2014

Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel recently visited Columbia City High School in support of the school’s initiative of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. The mayor gave a proclamation signifying the importance of the issue. At the reading were members from CCHS’s Key Club, leaders from the Whitley County Domestic Violence Task Force and CCHS Principal Jennifer Reiff. After the proclamation, Mayor Daniel took time to mingle with students and have some comical photographs taken with his “fans.” Pictured, students have a little photographic fun with the mayor.
