December 20, 2013

SOUTH WHITLEY — In what has been the start to a struggling season, Whitko’s boys basketball team suffered another loss Friday night, falling in a Three Rivers Conference matchup with Tippecanoe Valley, 59-40.

Despite the 19-point loss, the Wildcats didn’t go down without a fight.

After trailing most of the game, down 10-6 after the first quarter, 24-10 at halftime and 40-27 going into the fourth quarter, Whitko battled back to come within eight points with seven minutes on the clock.
