SPRING CAMPOREE: Scouts join in on Arrow Ceremony

Recently, the Lincolnway District of Anthony Wayne Area Council held their annual Spring Camporee.

Lincolnway District is made up of Scouts in Kosciusko and Whitley Counties. Each March, O.A. members travel to each troop in the district and hold elections for new members.

To be eligible, Boy Scouts must have achieved the First Class Rank, have at least 15 nights of scout camping with one long term camping experience, and then be elected my their peers with at least 50 percent of the vote.
Adult members must meet the same camping requirements and be chosen by the Troops adult staff and only one adult in the troop may be elected annually.
