SPECIAL PUBLICATION: Scrapbook to recap Whitley Co. Fair

July 22, 2014

At the Whitley County 4-H Fair, a contest was held between 4-Hers to see who could show a variety of animals as well as share information about the different breeds. The Large Round Robin winner was Breanna Waugh. Pictured, from left, are Round Robin participants: Carl Hartwell representing Dairy, Amelia Dumford representing Horses, Amber Ferrell representing Sheep, Breanna Waugh representing Beef, Trevor Gilbert representing Dairy Beef and Eryn Schinbeckler representing Swine.

COLUMBIA CITY — As part of The Post & Mail’s coverage of the Whitley County 4-H Fair, a scrapbook will be published in August. The special publication will include a recap of fair events and contests. It will highlight 4-Hers’ projects and fair memories. This annual scrapbook is the ideal keepsake for 4-H families, friends and supporters. Due to be inserted into the Aug. 8 edition of The Post & Mail, the scrapbook will include results from various 4-H shows.

Do you have fair photos you would like to contribute for Post & Mail readers to enjoy? You can submit your photos by emailing them to community@thepostandmail.com. The submission should include the first and last names of each person in the photograph along with information about the show and the animal.
