SOUTH WHITLEY SHAKE UP: Changes come to city hall

February 17, 2012

SOUTH WHITLEY — South Whitley’s Clerk-Treasurer Bob Gould reported on changes which have taken place in the clerk’s office last week during his report earlier this week to the town council.
“We have a new deputy-clerk in the office and her name is Pam Waller and she is doing a great job,” Gould said. “Jerri Bollinger is a new (office) staff member who has been here (in the clerk’s office) in the past for 30 years and she sat down and hit the desk running on Monday, cleaning up meter books and getting correct meter numbers entered.”
According to Gould, Bollinger will work approximately 20 hours per week once office records are cleaned up. Bollinger’s official title is assistant deputy-clerk.
“Jerri will work 16 hours a week on Mondays and Tuesdays once clean-up is completed,” Gould said. “Jerri is now working 20 hours a week.”
Waller’s wages will be increased to reflect her new position, along with Bollinger’s wages to be determined at the next scheduled meeting.
“Pam has shown to do a very good job and is capable of doing it (deputy-clerk position),” council president Tony Starkey said.
