SOUTH WHITLEY â South Whitleyâs Clerk-Treasurer Bob Gould reported on changes which have taken place in the clerkâs office last week during his report earlier this week to the town council.
âWe have a new deputy-clerk in the office and her name is Pam Waller and she is doing a great job,â Gould said. âJerri Bollinger is a new (office) staff member who has been here (in the clerkâs office) in the past for 30 years and she sat down and hit the desk running on Monday, cleaning up meter books and getting correct meter numbers entered.â
According to Gould, Bollinger will work approximately 20 hours per week once office records are cleaned up. Bollingerâs official title is assistant deputy-clerk.
âJerri will work 16 hours a week on Mondays and Tuesdays once clean-up is completed,â Gould said. âJerri is now working 20 hours a week.â
Wallerâs wages will be increased to reflect her new position, along with Bollingerâs wages to be determined at the next scheduled meeting.
âPam has shown to do a very good job and is capable of doing it (deputy-clerk position),â council president Tony Starkey said.
