January 24, 2014

COLUMBIA CITY — A man convicted of dealing methamphetamine in 2013 received a sentence modification Monday and will now be serving the remainder of his time locally.

Benjamin L. Greer, 31, of Churubusco, was sentenced to the Indiana Department of Correction for 10 years in April of 2013. He was ordered to serve eight of those years.

At Monday’s hearing, Judge James Heuer received confirmation from Greer that he had a job in the area.
