SCHRADER FILLS COUNTY AUDITOR: Prosecutor, police, board of accounts continue investigation

WHITLEY COUNTY — At the end of July, news was first made available to the public of an investigation by the Whitley County Prosecutor’s Office into Auditor Jennifer McGuire. McGuire took a voluntary leave of absence starting July 25 after an alleged misappropriation of county funds. Since that time, Whitley County Chief Deputy Auditor Vicky Schrader has taken on the role of county auditor.
