Salvation Army raising money for school shoes

June 18, 2013

COLUMBIA CITY — The Salvation Army is raising money to help children in need acquire shoes.

“My Sole Purpose” relies on individual and corporate donations and church and community partnerships to support the Salvation Army’s School Shoe and School Supply programs.

The number of outreach events as well as the number of children assisted is often directly determined by community support and efforts.

The goal is to help as many children in Whitley County as possible in need.

For more information, contact The Salvation Army of Whitley County, P.O. Box 881, Columbia City, IN 46725 or call 248-1711.
