Roger Diemer, 50

Roger Allen Diemer, 50, of Columbia City, passed away at 12:16 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Born December 22, 1962, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Robert Ray and Sharon Annette (Keller) Diemer.
He graduated from Leo High School with the Class of 1980. Roger lived in Fort Wayne and Columbia City areas his entire life and worked in general construction as a plasterer. In his free time, he enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing and camping.
Surviving relatives include his parents, Robert Ray and Sharon Annette Diemer of Columbia City; sisters, Debra D. (James) Diemer-Byerline of Albion, Sondra R. (Jerry) Diemer-Hughes of Fort Wayne and Stephanie D. Diemer-Hayes of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a brother, William C. (Diana) Diemer of Maryville, Tenn. He is preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Lynn Diemer.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating.
