Richard Taylor, 69

Richard “ Rich” F. Taylor, 69, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Atwood Campground in Wolcottville.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Richard worked in the OEM aftermarket business department with Dana Corp for 43 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. A Graduate of Parma Ohio High School and Kent State University. He enjoyed square dancing, the Saturday morning PBS TV shows, and loved spending time at the lake.
Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Donna Taylor (Fletcher, Brock) of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lindsey Rohrbach (Kyle) Peppler of Columbia City; brother, Edward Taylor of Albany, N.Y.; stepsons, Jeffrey (Teresa) Brock of Owasso, Okla. and Douglas Brock of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Stephanie Gail (Jonathan) Bray of Carmel, Kady Brock of Holland, Mich. and Kyle Brock of Las Vegas, N.V.; great-grandson, Brock Bray of Carmel; niece, Kara (Steven) Carpenter of Boyds, M.D.; and nephew, Scott (Wendy) Taylor of Arlington, Va.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Hermine Taylor.
The funeral service was held Thursday at 10 a.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd. with Fr. Mark Guertner officiating.
