Richard A. Kreider, 44, of Warsaw, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at his residence.
Born Dec. 19, 1966, he was the son of Richard H. and Delores Kreider.
He attended Whitko High School and graduated with the Class of 1985.
He worked at 80/20 in Columbia City.
A lifetime resident of Columbia City, he lived in Warsaw for the past year. He was an avid bowler and participated in a league.
Survivors include his son, Cpl. Zachary Kreider who is stationed in Japan with the U.S. Marine Corps; mother, Delores (Robert Trobaugh) Kreider of Columbia City; sisters, Melonie (Michael) Sroufe of North Manchester, Colleen (Greg Swick) Buzzard of Auburn, Janolyn Kreider and Lucinda (Tim) Martz both of Columbia City.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard H. Kreider on February 13, 2008.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
To honor Mr. Kreider’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the final expense fund c/o DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home.
