Richard Roscoe Hatton, 54, a lifelong resident of Bear Lake, died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his home.
He was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Central Noble High School in 1978.
He was employed for more than 20 years at Dexter Axle.
His lifetime memberships included North America Hunting Club and North American Fishing Club.
Surviving relatives include a son, Chad R. Agler of Bear Lake; his parents, Gerald and Anita Pensinger of Bear Lake; a sister, Linda (William) Wagler of Hicksville OH.; two brothers, Robert W. (Doris) Yenna of Lagrange and James G. (Ronda) Yenna of Fort Wayne and special friend, Penny L. Agler of Bear Lake.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The burial will be in Wolf Lake Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
