When the postseason opens up for Indiana high school football next week, the fans will need an extra buck at the ticket booth.
Tickets for the sectional round had a one dollar hike from the regular $5 cost from seasons prior. The new cost was determined by the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA).
Fans don’t have to worry about buying tickets early. Tickets will be sold both in athletic offices during school hours and at the entrances on game night.
Two of the county’s three teams will be at home. Class 4A’s No. 8 Columbia City (7-1) Eagles will host DeKalb (0-8). The fifth ranked team in class A, Churubusco (7-1) welcomes Adams Central (6-2).
TRC champion Whitko (7-1) travels to Bremen (5-3) in class 3A. All games are set for 7 p.m. starts.
