COLUMBIA CITY â€” Columbia Cityâ€™s Walmart had more than extra security in its aisles Tuesday night.
Nearly 10 law enforcement officers participated in a program put on by the Columbia City Police Department â€” Patrolling for Presents â€” and were sentinels of good tidings.
The program brought holiday cheer to 21 children with families who needed a helping hand this year.
CCPDâ€™s first-year officer, Jon Stoffel, headed up the event, which received praise from fellow officers, children and parents alike.
