COLUMBIA CITY Ââ€” Passages Inc., a nonprofit that serves people with intellectual disabilities, recently welcomed Melisa Grant to the organization as its new administrative assistant.
Grant will assist Passages Inc. by coordinating appointments, meetings and organizing records at the organizationâ€™s administrative offices on Van Buren Street in Columbia City.
In addition, she will assist with the research and preparation of grants, marketing and development efforts for Passages, Inc. along with other office functions.
Grant will also provide administrative support to the president of Passages, and secretarial support to the Passages Board of Directors, Finance, Safety, Governance, Facility and Marketing committees.
Prior to Passages, Grant worked with the Whitley County Consolidated School Corporation, and is a graduate of Columbia City High School.
Additionally, Sonya Rubrake, was recently promoted to Human Resource Manager for Passages.
