Parkview Whitley officially opens

COLUMBIA CITY — The transfer of 21 patients Thursday from Parkview Whitley Hospital’s former Oak Street address to the hospital’s new facility at the corner of Ind. 205 and U.S. 30 was highlighted with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the blessing of the new hospital and the transfer of the chapel Bible from the old facility.
The events marked the official opening of the hospital and the beginning of a new era in health care for Whitley County, according to a hospital officials.
