Next step in water project hits snag

CHURUBUSCO — The Churubusco Town Council was scheduled to vote on approving additional funds to bore a new water main from the west side to the east side of U.S. 33 at CR 375 N., but Town Council Chairman Frank Kessler said the council “could not approve the work until we get a firm quote from the contractor.”
The vote was tabled until the quote is obtained. Ironclad Excavating of Roanoke was the lowest bidder on the project.
