NEW OWNERS NEW DESTINY: 100-year-old building coming down

Demolition continues at the 100-year-old building at the corner Line and Van Buren streets in Columbia City. The building was the former home of the Eagles Lodge, but the property is now owned by the Columbia City Redevelopment Commission. Officials hope to find a retailer to build on the property after the demolition.
