Nancy Jayne (Jagger) Nagi passed away April 29, 2013, at her home in Metolius, Ore. She had been battling cancer for more than a year and a half.
She was born Nov. 23, 1957, in Columbia City and attended grade school at Thorncreek School. Her family moved to Bakersfield, Calif. and where she attended and graduated from East High School.
She married Saleh Nagi April 24, 1981. They had three children together.
Nancy worked in nursing homes as an aide and then went into medical records.
She also coached kids softball and baseball and watched children. She also helped her husband in the stores they owned.
She is survived by husband, Saleh Nagi; mother and stepfather, Patricia and Bob Williams; three children, Jamale (Cadie) Nagi, Jessica (Danny) Hart and Jahad (Karen) Nagi; grandchildren, Sahara and Isla; and three siblings, Pamela (James) Smith, Vicky (Randy) Fosdick and Patrick (Kathy) Jagger. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters and her father, Harold Eugene Jagger.
