METH CHARGES: 'Busco brothers arrested

November 20, 2012

COLUMBIA CITY — Two Churubusco brothers appeared in Whitley County Circuit Court Monday for an initial hearing after a search warrant turned up drugs at their residence last week.

Benjamin, 30, and Andrew Greer, 28, were arrested on methamphetamine and marijuana charges after the Indiana State Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) searched their home at 7755 E. CR 150 N. on Nov. 15.

According to a case report by the Whitley County Drug Task Force, before the search, ERT officers witnessed Andrew throwing items out of the upstairs window onto a lower roof.

A search of a pole barn turned up two 32-ounce plastic bottles that contained meth.

Police also found several precursors and two bags of meth manufacturing trash in the trunk.
