Marilyn Owen, 90

Marilyn E. Owen, 90, a resident of Churubusco and formerly of Green Township, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.
She had been taken to the hospital from her home on Friday. Mrs. Owen was born in Churubusco on June 21, 1922, a daughter of Chester E. and Bertha (Richards) Tulley.
Surviving relatives include her two daughters, a brother, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Van Horn, pastor of Christ Community Church, officiating.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.
