Marie Guhl, 100

Marie I. Guhl, 100, of Huntington, passed away 2:53 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Heritage of Huntington.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1912, in Whitley County, daughter of Charles and Bessie Sievers Kneller. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Guhl married Raymond Guhl June 18, 1932. He preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1985.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Huntington County Women’s Club, Monday Club, Huntington County Art Guild and Right to Life and Charter member of the Three Rivers Decorating Club.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Kay (Arni) Burron of Greeyley, Colo. and Jane (Doug) Doehrmann of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and two sisters Beatrice Boerboom of Monroe, Mich. and Margaret (Jack) Fox of Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Guhl was preceded in death by one son, Mark Guhl; one great grandchild; seven brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will be Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior at 9 a.m. at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 648 N. Lafontaine St., Huntington, with Dr. Richard Lofgren officiating.
The burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion.
McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
