Margaret Heston, 94

Margaret Heston, 94, of Albion, formerly of Portland and Crown Point, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 in Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.
She was born in Portland, Feb. 2, 1916, a daughter of Harvey and Jesse (Wilson) Humphries. She was married Feb. 22, 1938 to Clayton Heston and he died Jan. 26, 1982.
She had worked for United Telephone Company, Artcraft Sporting Goods and Dunkirk Lumber Company. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Portland.
Surviving are two daughters, Margie (Bud) Bushell of Columbia City and Barbara (Al) Huth of Kendallville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Deb Bowsher presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the services today.
Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Portland or the choice of the donor.
