NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF HEARING ON PROPOSED
CUMULATIVE CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Whitley County, Indiana,
that the Whitley County Council will meet at 8:00 am on April 1, 2013,
at the Whitley County Government Center, 220 W Van Buren Street,
Columbia City Indiana for the re-establishment of a Cumulative Capital
Development Fund under the provisions of Indiana Code #36-9-14-5
for the purposes as follows:
“For all uses as set out in IC #6-1.1-41-14 Earmarking of levied tax
funds; expenditures”
The tax will be levied on all taxable real and personal property
within the taxing district and will not exceed:
$.0300 per $100 of assessed valuation 2013 payable in 2014 and
thereafter, continuing until reduced or rescinded. Taxpayers appearing
as such hearing shall have the right to be heard thereon. The proposal
for re-establishment of the cumulative capital development Fund is
subject to approval by the Department of Local Government Finance.
Within thirty (30) day after the date of the adoption of the cumulative
fund by the Whitley County Council the County will publish a Notice
of Adoption.
Upon publication of the Notice of Adoption, ffty (50) or more
taxpayers in the taxing district may fle a petition with the County
Auditor not later than noon thirty (30) days after the publication of the
Notice of Adoption setting forth their objections to the proposed levy.

hold a public hearing on Petition 13-W-SUBD-2 fled by Garry and
Teresa Ingram requesting approval for a 1 lot subdivision generally
