MAIN BREAK: Glenbrook Mall floods, shuts down

November 1, 2013

FORT WAYNE — A large mall in Fort Wayne was partially reopened after a water main break caused major flooding in the building.

Approximately 10 to 15 stores will remain closed at Glenbrook Square Mall for clean up, but the rest of the mall will be open for business, according to mall administration.

Initially, mall employees informed area media that the approximately 40- to 50-store mall would be completely closed.

It was first believed the mall would remain open on normal hours, but officials later decided to partially close the building.
