Local bowler places ninth in WHAC

FORT WAYNE — Former Columbia City High School bowler, Devin Arick, finished his sophomore season at Indiana Tech with high honors.

Indiana Tech’s Warriors completed the year in second place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, and placed fourth in the WHAC Championship.

Arick was named to the WHAC Honorable Mention All-Conference Team.

He bowled in all four conference jamborees, averaging a 186.94 in 16 ga-mes. He ranked ninth in the conference.

Arick’s best finish was at the third competition, when he finished fourth with a 195.25 average.
