Larwill council hears EDC update

LARWILL — Alan Tio, Whitley County Economic Development Corporation’s president, attended the Larwill town council meeting Thursday night and provided updates on EDC activities, along with an overview of last year and the upcoming 2012 budget.
“The thing about the EDC is it represents a 20-year commitment that Whitley county has had to supporting (and growing) industry and bringing new money into our county,” Tio said. “We (EDC) want to make sure we keep that effort strong and continue to respond to the needs of business.”
