FORT WAYNE — Columbia City’s girls soccer team improved on its second round with Huntington North this season, but it was not enough to get by the Lady Vikings.

The Lady Eagles lost a Class 2A sectional semifinal to Huntington North Tuesday by a final of 2-0.

Earlier this season, Huntington North beat the Lady Eagles 4-0.

“We made some adjustments,” said Columbia City Girls Soccer Head Coach Stephanie Wiley. “I think those helped us a lot, we just couldn’t get the ball in the net.”

The Lady Eagles had several opportunities in the contest, but were turned back each time.
