Lady Eagle golf falls to Homestead

FORT WAYNE — Columbia City’s girls golf team fell to a strong Homestead squad Friday night at Orchard Ridge Country Club, 184-213.

Homestead, which is 3-3 in the Northeast Hoosier Conference, had co-medalists Annie Butchko and Courtney Delacuesta who each scored a 44.

Columbia City’s Macenzie Lane was two strokes off the leaders at 46, but the remaining Lady Eagle linksters scored 50 or over to lose the match and drop their record to 1-5 in the NHC and 3-8 overall.

Other Columbia City scores include: Taylor Daniel, 50; Cheyenne Johnson, 55; Sydney Ford, 62 and Allison Yoder, 63.
