Klimek takes fourth overall at Wawasee

SYRACUSE — Columbia City’s golf team placed 10th in a field of 15 at the Wawasee Invitational Saturday at South Shore Golf Course.

The Eagles were led by freshman Spencer Klimek, who finished fourth overall with a score of 75, three over par.

Kilmek shot a 37 on the front nine and 38 on the back half to pace Columbia City.

Tyler Green wasn’t far behind, shooting a 79.

Northwood won the invite with a score of 305, 32 strokes less than the Eagles.

Whitko also competed in the event and placed 13th.
