February 11, 2011

Kimberlina (Ickes) Heintzelman of Columbia City passed away Feb. 3, 2011 at Fort Wayne Hospice, to be with her Lord. Her family hopes she is at peace and no longer in pain.
She was born in Bakersfield, Calif. in 1965. She grew up in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. and graduated from high school there. She was married twice and had no children.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Ickes from Weiser, Idaho; a sister, Debra Evans of Santa Barbara, Calif; two nieces, Heather Evans and her son, Cameron, of Canyon Country, Calif. and Stephanie (Brian) Sathre of Santa Barbara, Calif.; two aunts, Gloria Kregoski of Placerville, Calif. and Donna Powell of Sacramento, Calif.; Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Henson of Redding, Calif.; several cousins with whom she enjoyed spending her time; and a great aunt, Vera Carl of Grants Pass, Oregon.
There will be no services held.
In lieu of flowers or cards, the family requests donations be made to the local humane shelter as her passion was for animals and especially cats.
She will be dearly missed by her family and the many friends she had over her short lifetime.
