Joe Allen Daniels, 56, of Columbia City, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012, at his home.
Born June 28, 1956, in Wolf Lake, he was the son of Richard Nelson and Delores Fay (Watson) Daniels.
He worked at C&R Plating, Columbia City, as a supervisor in Quality Control and Shipping and Receiving.
On Dec. 2, 1989, he married Tammy Krider at West Point United Methodist Church, Columbia City.
A former resident of New Haven and Berrien Springs, Mich., he resided in Columbia City for the past 29 years.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Tammy Daniels; daughter, Dennise Ann (Bradley) Wells of Columbia City; two sons, Shawn R. (Michelle) Daniels and Brandon Charles Daniels of Columbia City; mother and father, Lynn and Delores Palmer of Churubusco; sister, Doreen Schuerman of New Haven; brother, Edward Palmer of Columbia City; mother-in-law, Mary Krider of Columbia City; four grandchildren, Sydnee Macy, Layla Daniels, Josie and Zoe Wells; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Tim (Jane) Krider and Jeff (Annette) Krider both of Columbia City and stepmother, Audrey Daniels of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Nelson Daniels; brother, Charlie McBride; father-in-law, Charles Krider; grandparents, Richard and Ruth Daniels and David and Effa Watson and nephew, Timmy Krider.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
The memorial service will immediately follow calling on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Scroggs officiating.
Memorials may be given in memory of Mr. Daniels to Family of Joe Daniels supported by Eagle Riders 1906, Fire and Iron MC Station 150 and Columbia City Eagles.
