COLUMBIA CITY â€” This past summer, Alissa Jagger traveled to Washington D.C. with her family.
While the photo (pictured right) is touching, the story behind the photo made emotions run high for Jaggerâ€™s art teacher, Mary Hilger.
â€śI had chills when she told me the story,â€ť Hilger said.

This past summer, the Jagger family went to Washington D.C.
They went to the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. They were there to look up a particular individual.
