ISMS girls off to strong start

COLUMBIA CITY — Indian Springs Middle School hoops is in full swing, with both boys and girls squads taking the court in games.The ISMS 7th-grade girls ran away with a lopsided 43-6 win to open the season at Harding last Monday.All of the girls saw action in the opener and many contributed both offensively and defensively. Ava Winters led all scorers with a quick 14 points off of several rebounds and some strong assists from teammates. Grace Cotter added a solid 11 points.
