ISMS girls basketball splits Summit

COLUMBIA CITY — Indian Springs Middle School’s girls basketball team took a win and a loss against Summit Middle School Tuesday night.

The seventh-grade Lady Eagles won 47-21 to go 2-0 on the season, and the eighth-grade girls fell 43-15, falling to 1-1 on the year.

All of the seventh-grade Lady Eagles’ players had the opportunity to contribute during the game, led by Grace Cotter with 14 points, as well as going 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

Ava Winters and Alaina Rongos made a strong showing on the boards, as well as contributing 12 and six points, respectively.
