FORT WAYNE — Columbia City’s boys soccer season came to an end Monday against Homestead.

The Spartans beat the Eagles 15-0.

Homestead scored eight goals in the first half and seven in the second to bring the game to its final margin.

Columbia City Boys Soccer Coach Derick Rice said the team kept in the game despite the margin.

“The scoreboard doesn’t always show they’ve competed and that their hearts is still in it,” he said.
