HOLDING THE DOUGH: Loan process in mid-swing, business backs out of S. Whitley

SOUTH WHITLEY — A company considering South Whitley as its base of operations has opted to look elsewhere for real estate.

“The company has decided to look for a smaller building,” said Alan Tio Whitley County Economic Development Corporation president. “They liked South Whitley and even thought this might be a good location once they are ready to expand.”

With no company ready to occupy the former Dwyer building, South Whitley Town Council members had to decide how to proceed with the loan process.
