HOLD ON TO YOUR HAT: Whipping, warm wind to usher in nighttime cold front

FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TODAY TO 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45
MPH. WINDS SHOULD DIMINISH BY LATE EVENING.

The strong southerly winds will increase Whitley County temperatures to around 70 degrees Sunday afternoon.

A cold front passing through late this evening will bring with it steadily dropping temperatures and precipitation -- including possible snow showers Monday afternoon.
