Heuer to hold teachers forum

February 25, 2011

COLUMBIA CITY — State Rep. Kathy Heuer (R-Columbia City) will be hosting a teachers forum from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, and would like to invite area teachers to attend.
The teachers forum will be held at the Peabody Public Library, located at 1160 East state Route 205 in Columbia City.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with the forum starting promptly at 1 p.m.
Rep. Heuer encourages the teaching community to attend and share their thoughts and opinions with her. She looks forward to hearing from the teaching community in her district in order to bring valuable input back to the Statehouse.
Teachers turned out en masse at a forum last week with numerous questions regarding education reform bills currently before the state legislature.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Heuer at 1-800-382-9841 or e-mail at
Heuer is the representative for District 83 which covers portions of Whitley, Noble and Allen counties.
