COLUMBIA CITY —Nearly 100 runners of all ages negotiated a hilly and challenging course through the woods and hills of Camp Whitley last Saturday in the 2012 Tinkham’s Run 5K.

The run is held annually as a fund-raiser for Camp Whitley.

Kevin Heckman finished in 20 minutes to claim first place overall. Taking first place among the female runners was Caitlyn Chastain, who ran the course in 22:57.

The youngest finisher, four-year-old Taylor Bock, finished the course in 43:48, just one second ahead of her mother, Julie Bock.
