GROWING VIRUS IN AREA: Hand, foot and mouth disease no reason for alarm

WHITLEY COUNTY — An extremely contagious, yet common, virus has been making its way through Northeast Indiana and Whitley County this summer.
Many local residents have reported children with hand, foot and mouth disease, a typically non-life-threatening virus that spreads quickly.
